Student’s Rights

  • To feel, and be, happy and safe.
  • To receive good, balanced and fun education in a safe and happy school environment, with appropriate resources and good teaching practices.
  • To be protected and supported against violence, bullying, abuse and neglect.
  • To say “no” to anything that feels wrong or disturbs you, or anyone who makes you feel unhappy, fearful or uncomfortable by their actions or words, no matter who that person may be.
  • To give, express, share your opinion, beliefs, and concerns on any issue that affects you, and to be heard and taken seriously and with respect when you do so.
  • To have teachers and adults around you who are caring and fair.
  • To receive all possible help, support, motivation and encouragement in achieving your goals, and in developing your personality, talents and abilities to their fullest extent.

  • To be respectful, kind and considerate towards your teachers and other adults who care for you.
  • To respect and comply with school and classroom rules and discipline, recognising that these rules and disciplinary measures are there for your protection and well-being as well as for the safety and well-being of others.
  • To refrain from bullying, teasing, annoying and distressing any other student or person.
  • To be respectful of differences and disabilities in other students and persons, and to show kindness, consideration and tolerance and treat everyone with equal respect and empathy.
